From early years of tennis rackets and hairbrushes in front of mirrors and the family camera lens Sam eventually picked up a real guitar and strummed his first chords at 13. By 14 the voice came too and before he knew it he was signed with his former Guitar teacher as "The Southernaires" to London based record company GO! DISCS with his distinctive soul voice renown for sounding beyond his mere 15 years.

Though rave reviews and tours with the likes of Taj Mahal and Alison Moyet the bands album came and went always just falling seemingly short of the stardom that beckoned.

Back from a blacklisted wilderness years later he developed strong friendships and notoriety among Bristol's music elite and after years of playing in the shadows finally decided to step out into the light and make a new record.

He started recording the new material at "Robot Club" the up and coming studio of Producers Stew Jackson and Dan Brown who have worked for Massive Attack, Phantom Limb, Fortune Drive, Emily Breeze and many others since they started out in the early noughties.

The ensemble cast on the record came from pulling in favours and attracting by word of mouth some of Bristol's newest and finest stars to join forces over the year long recordings of late nights and lock-ins that helped  deliver the records lively but matured and fine blended sound scape.

The final result was the debut album "Two Fingers" that was self released to critical acclaim and is available to order on line through this site and myspace or to download from itunes.

Sam is often seen playing Solo but is also known to regularly show up with familiar faces new and old to recreate some of the records larger sound and to make sure that the crowd never gets the same show twice.

Sam is not currently signed to any major label and continues to work towards bringing his music to the masses.
